Overview
Paula Deen made her name by fixing up old fashioned Southern grub for people tired of watching their waists at the expense of their taste buds – and in the process became one of TV's most popular chefs. But when allegations broke that the Southern belle had a history of using racial epithets, the controversy threatened to destroy her culinary empire.
